Considering … Art
I am a wordsmith. My professional career, my hobbies all revolve around the art of language. My hands are – for the most part – useless when it comes to drawing or painting or sculpting. But every now and then, I decide to step outside my little box and try on a new hat, which usually means taking an art class, or doing a bit of scrapbooking, or – when I’m really desperate – trying my hand at some random craft kit from Michael’s.
Inspiration comes from all mediums and genres, and although my talents do not mesh well with traditional art forms, I do continue to try. One never knows where a gem may be hiding!
